A commitment ceremony is often very similar to many other kinds of weddings. The difference is that rather than being a legally binding ceremony, it is simply a public affirmation of a couples commitment to one another.
Generally, the couple that have been together for some time, the couple are not necessarily lesbian, gay, or transgender to have a commitment ceremony. However, generally, the couple is a lesbian, gay, or transgender couple, and thus are unable to marry under the current NY State laws. A commitment ceremony may be religious or secular, formal and traditional or loose and unstructured.

This Package is a small ceremony package
that adds a few more options than Packages
A & B offers. The package includes the
following:- One In-Person Consultation
- Ceremony
- Couple uses sample ceremonies to
design vows and ceremony provided or
can personalize the vows - Rehearsal of Ceremony
- Copy of vows on decorative formal
paper - Affirmation of Love Certificate (framed)
- Coordination of Ceremonies Services ~ Overall: Making sure there is a smooth flow between each /.vsegment of the wedding ceremony to the reception.**

This Package is a medium to large ceremony
package that serves as an officiant service
plus so much more. The package includes the
following:- Multiple In-Person Consultation
- Ceremony
- Couple uses sample ceremonies to
design vows and ceremony provided or
can personalize the vows - Couple can choose to add Special
Ceremonies (Unity Candle, etc) - Rehearsal of Ceremony
- Ceremony can be specialized (Celtic,
Medieval, etc.) - Copy of vows on decorative formal paper
- Affirmation of Love Certificate (framed)
- Coordination of Ceremonies Services
GRAND $500
The Grand Package is a medium to large day or
evening commitment ceremony package that
serves as an officiant service plus so much
more. The package includes the following:- Multiple Consultations
- Ceremony
- Couple uses sample ceremonies to design
vows and ceremony provided or can
personalize the vows - Moment of Silence for friends and family
- Candle Ceremony is Performed (applicable
if ceremony location will permit) - Rehearsal of Ceremony
- Ceremony can be specialized (Celtic,
Medieval, etc.) - Assist the Couple with any facet of the
planning of ceremony and reception - Copy of vows on decorative formal paper
